Get Test USDC from a Faucet

USDC is a stablecoin—a token that always stays worth $1. On ToneFinance, you’ll deposit USDC to mint sector tokens.

Step 1: Copy Your Wallet Address

1. Open MetaMask
2. Click your account name at the top
3. Click “Copy” to copy your wallet address

Step 2: Get USDC

Circle Faucet (Recommended)

• Website: faucet.circle.com 
• What to do:
  1. Visit the Circle faucet website
  2. Select “Base Sepolia” from the network dropdown
  3. Paste your wallet address
  4. Click “Send” or similar button
  5. Wait for the USDC to arrive
• How much: 10 USDC per claim (plenty for testing)
• No signup required

Manual Add (If Needed)

If the faucet doesn’t work, you can manually add the USDC token to your wallet:

1. In MetaMask, click “Import tokens”
2. Paste the USDC address: 0xC4C0965f35F5E52C72fF8c24fF6AB38E826d0E7D
3. Click “Add Custom Token”
4. The token will appear in your wallet

Step 3: Check Your Wallet

1. Open MetaMask
2. You should see a USDC balance in your account
3. If you don’t see it, click “Import tokens” and add it manually

How Much Do You Need?

For trying out ToneFinance:

• 10 USDC (a single claim) is enough to test the full deposit and withdrawal process
• There is no minimum deposit during alpha
• You can claim more from the faucet if you want to try multiple deposits

Important: Select Base Sepolia

When using the Circle faucet, always make sure you select “Base Sepolia” from the network dropdown. If you select a different network, the USDC won’t go to your Base Sepolia wallet.
